Norman S.M. Cheung, D.D.S.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Dr. Cheung attended the University of Southern California for both undergraduate work and Dental School. He has been in private practice since 1994 and established his own aesthetic and restorative dentistry office in 2000. Dr. Cheung is also a graduate of the renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Hawai`i Dental Association, and the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.

In addition to general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Cheung also focuses on Neuromuscular Dentistry (NMD), a relatively recent approach to dental care that evaluates and treats a patient's overall health by examining the way in which muscles, teeth and joints all work together. NMD works to correct bite problems (due to natural aging of the body or other external factors) that can result in symptoms such as unexplained back pain, headaches, TMJ pain, dizziness or sensitive teeth.

In 2009, Dr. Cheung was honored to be named one of Hawaii's Top Dentists by Honolulu Magazine.
